Monday, December 2 - On-Snow Schedule
Tomorrow will be the first day of the on-snow schedule for SBA. Full-year student athletes will have a full day of academics on Monday, followed by on-snow training Tuesday - Friday morning with academics in the afternoon. Student-athletes can access their specific course schedule in Blackbaud.
On-Snow Schedule
Tuesday, December 3 - Sunday, December 8 - Jacket, Pass, and Locker Pickup, 9:30 - 12:30
Please email admin@sbacademy.org to let us know when you are coming so we can ensure we have someone to meet you. We will be available from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Wednesday, December 4 - Winter Term Orientation, 5-6 pm

Saturday, December 7 - Sunday, December 8 - On-Snow Project for Athletes 7-18
Take advantage of the early snowfall at Sugar Bowl this year and get in two days of training before the official start of our season! All athletes ages 7 and up who are registered for our Teams program are invited to join us. Please register in advance so we have enough coaches available. Student-athletes in our Full Year and Winter Term school programs do not need to register to attend.

Athletics
Team Jackets
It has been great seeing our athletes out on the mountain in their new SBA jackets! We have to place the jacket order in February to receive the jackets in time for the season, which means we must estimate the sizes we will need before we have collected registration information. We are doing our best to get every athlete the size they requested or one size larger, and we are extremely limited in our ability to provide an alternate size without putting another athlete in a jacket that is 2-3 sizes too big. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
Village Hall Lockers Available
We still have a few standard size lockers available in Village Hall for the 2025 season. Lockers are $805 for the season. Purchase Locker
Alpine FIS Men & Women in Canada
Our Alpine FIS Men & FIS Women will head back to Canada this week for their first races of the season. Go SBA!

Spread Holiday Cheer with Toys for Tots! November 25 - December 11
This holiday season Sugar Bowl is supporting Toys for Tots - bringing joy to children in our community. Tween and Teen items are preferred if possible
Upcoming Events
December 11 - First day of training for Junior and Senior Expanded Teams
Expanded teams train Wednesday-Friday mornings.
December 13 - Optional training U10+
Optional afternoon training for all team athletes ages 7-18.
December 14 - First day of training for All Teams
Be ready to hit the slopes for our first official training day.
December 14-15 - Far West U16+ Open at Sugar Bowl
Watch our SBA athletes compete with other Far West teams at our home resort. We will need volunteers to help make this event a success. Please mark your calendar, and we will share specific volunteer opportunities later this week.
