Enrollment Process

We serve the next generation of great students and athletes who demonstrate grit, grace, and courage on the mountain, inside the classroom, and in life.

Our academic programs accept students in grades 6-8 who share our dedication to excellence in athletics and academics and want to grow personally as they prepare for their athletic careers and college.

Sugar Bowl Academy enrolls athletes to academic programs on a rolling basis based on available space in desired programs. While applications are considered at any time during the year, we highly encourage you to submit applications by April 1 to ensure availability of your selected program.

Every prospective student must complete an application. Applications are reviewed by the athletics staff and the academics staff. We are able to individualize training and course work for athletes. Our admissions team will work with you to ensure we find the right fit for your child.

Winter and Full Time program enrollment follows the process below.

Step 1: Learn More
Please complete our inquiry form. A member of our team will contact you to learn more about you and your family as well as share the opportunities at Sugar Bowl Academy. Our process for academics is individualized to ensure our programs are a good fit.

Step 2: Complete Application
After completing the form, we will share a link to the online application. An application is required for admissions into academic programs.

Step 3: Complete Financial Aid Application (optional)
Complete the financial aid application and submit with your SBA application so we can evaluate both and provide a response that includes accurate program costs for your child.

Step 4: Visit SBA (highly encouraged)
We encourage you to visit SBA to meet our leadership team, see our facilities, and ski or ride with our coaches, if possible. Our admissions team will work with your family to schedule a visit.

Step 5: Decision
We will provide an admission decision to your family within 30 days of your application submission.
