Senior Dinner - Seniors Only

We are excited to invite you to this year’s Senior Dinner at Village Hall on Wednesday, May 28 at 5:30 PM. This special event will celebrate your families, the achievements of your graduating seniors, and provide an opportunity for families to come together in recognition of this milestone. Tickets are $50, and each family is allocated 4 tickets to purchase for the event, including one for the graduating senior. If you would like to purchase additional tickets, please contact Drew. While space at Village Hall is limited, we will do our best to accommodate extra requests on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to celebrating with you and your senior! Athletics

Season Extended through April 27

Since we still have snow and the resort is open, our SBA teams will train two additional weekends: April 18-20 and April 25-27, with teams training on their normal weekend schedule. All athletes may join these weekends at no additional cost.

Tiki Race - Saturday, April 12

The Tiki Race is an extremely fun way to celebrate the closing of a great season. The race is open to all ages and disciplines. The format for this race will be a dual course head-to-head race. We encourage athletes and coaches to dress up in their most creative costumes. Parents, you are also invited to go head-to-head with your athlete! The courses will open at 9 am and stay open until 12 pm. After the event, we will have year-end awards outside of Village Hall at 2:00 pm. 

May Training Camps at Sugar Bowl - Invitation Only

We will host training camps at Sugar Bowl May 6-9 and May 13-16 when the resort is closed. These camps are by invitation only. We’ll share more details with invited athletes soon.

Summer Cross Country Camp - Ages 12-15

Join us for an unforgettable summer training experience at Sugar Bowl Academy’s Cross Country Summer Development Camp! Designed for motivated young athletes, this camp blends high-altitude training, skill development, and adventure in the stunning mountains of the Sierra Nevada.

If you know your current team jacket will not fit next season or you are not returning to an SBA program next year, please return your jacket at the Village Hall front desk. Thank you for helping us be ready for new athletes next season!

Village Hall Lockers for 2026

Renewal notices were sent to families who currently have a locker in Village Hall on Friday, April 4. Renewals will be available through April 25, 2025. Once the renewal window is closed, we will open remaining lockers to all families with a child registered for a 2026 team or school program. Pricing for 2026 will be as follows:

  • Family - 19.5 cubic feet - $1,350

  • Standard - 12 cubic feet - $850

  • Single - 9.75 cubic feet - $650

Competitive Updates

Check out all the competitive results for our athletes on our results page. Here are the highlights:

FIS Men - Mission Ridge
Our FIS Men competed in a 2 x GS and 2 x Slalom race series at Mission Ridge.

  • Lucas Ottoni finished in the top 10 in all 4 races, with a 2nd and 3rd place finish in Slalom and a 6th and 9th place finish in GS.

  • Zach Beevor, Arel Niemisvirta, Adam Brown, and Henry Smith all had top 20 finishes, including a 3rd in GS for Arel, a 5th in Slalom for Adam, a 7th in Slalom and a 10th in GS for Zach, and a 10th in Slalom for Henry.

Alpine U16 Tech Finals
Our Alpine U16 team went to Northstar for the Tech Finals - a 2 x GS and 2 x Slalom race series, with the men picking up multiple podiums and the women with multiple top 20 finishes.

  • Jackson Fossum, Mason Ayers, Loenn Hevin, Jameson Pfeister, and Jonah Peyzner all had top 10 finishes in the men’s GS.

  • Mason Ayers, Jonah Peyzner, Ryan Russo, Loenn Hevin, and Jackson Fossum all had top 10 finishes in the men’s Slalom.

  • Jaidyn Service and Adrienne McMahon finished in the top 15 in women’s GS and women’s Slalom.

Alpine U14 Championships at Mammoth
Two of our Alpine U14 men competed at the U14 championships at Mammoth: Vince DiLuna and Andy Doiron.

Alpine U16 Nationals
SBA sent two of our U16 men and one of our U16 women to Nationals at Sugarloaf: Sebastian Atra, Sawyer Stever, and Meila Ayers. Seb Atra finished 9th in Slalom and 11th in GS. Meila Ayers finished 27th in Slalom.

FIS US Nationals
Four SBA athletes headed to Vail for US Nationals: Carl Ottosson, Jack Schrady, Sophie Skytta, and Porter Sullivan.

  • Carl Ottosson finished 11th overall in men’s Super G and 3rd in U20.

  • Jack Schrady finished 36th overall and 16th in U20 in men’s GS.

  • Jack Shrady finished 26th overall and 9th in U20 in men’s Slalom, followed by Carl Ottosson in 35th overall and 15th in U20.

Alpine U14 Spring Select at Stevens Pass
SBA sent five athletes to the U14 Spring Select at Stevens Pass: Amelia Allen, Vivienne Wood, Michael Teytleman, Niko Beevor and Lancelot Kopatsy.

  • Amelia Allen finished 2nd in the women’s GS and 3rd in women’s Slalom.

  • Michael Teytelman finished 1st in the SkillsQuest and 2nd in the men’s Slalom.

  • Lance Kopatsy finished 4th in the men’s GS.

USASA Nationals - Snowboard
Justin La Bar represented SBA at the USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain, finishing in the top 15 in both his races! Justin finished 10th in the Slalom men’s race ages 13-14 and 12th in the GS race.

The Silver Belt
The Silver Belt was held at Sugar Bowl with some epic runs put down by three of our SBA athletes: Angus Blackburn, Ewan Jedlic, and Henry Schrichte.
