Juggling a full college preparatory course load while training and competing at the highest levels is no easy task — that’s the nature of a ski academy. But the good news is we understand this, so we make sure that the academic and athletic peaks won't coincide
While the academic year runs from September to June, our calendar actually runs the entire year, from June to June, and is designed around your training and competition schedules. Rigorous college preparatory course loads in the fall and spring are reduced during the winter months to accommodate your training and travel demands.
Similarly, our daily schedules are designed to facilitate your academic, athletic and personal growth. In the fall and spring, your seven-hour academic day is broken up by two conditioning sessions; during the winter, you'll ski for three to four hours before four to five hours of academic work.
In the fall and spring, every day except Wednesday starts with a 75-minute strength and conditioning session.
The academic day runs 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM. All classes meet for 50 minutes, four times per week. Throughout the week, there are additional blocks scheduled for all-school meetings, home room, office hours, silent reading and student jobs.
Every day ends with a conditioning session until 5:30 PM.

During the winter months (November 27 to April 7), we have a unique schedule for ideal on-snow training designed to complement our rigorous academic demands.
