Alpine U16 Dominate Far West U16+ Open at Mammoth

December 21-22, 2024 - Our Alpine U16 men’s team dominated for the second weekend in a row at the Far West U16+ Open at Mammoth on Saturday, December 21! SBA athletes took 6 of the top 10 overall in the men’s U16+ GS race, with Sawyer Stever finishing in 1st place, followed by Ryan Russo in 2nd and Jameson Pfeister in 4th. Ethan Cohen earned the hard charger award in Saturday’s men’s race. The women’s team also had a strong showing on Saturday, with Meila Ayers taking 4th overall and 3 SBA teammates in the top 20. Sunday’s race was canceled due to weather.
