Alpine U10 - Diamond Peak
January 26, 2025 - Well Done Tahoe Race Series racers! Battling frigid temperatures and a nasty east wind rendering the Diamond Peak race course very firm - to say the least - our SBA U10 TRS racers - all 31 of them - did amazingly well. Coaching staff and parents ought to be very proud of performances along with the resilience each and every U10 displayed throughout the racing day.
Some athletes to recognized are:
Will Keatly, who, as a U8, took first place and more spectacularly had the second overall time out of the entire U10 field of more than 200 racers!
Irving Howells had a top 10 finish as a U10.
Ava Kesmann and Jane Senescu for top 5 finishes in U8.
Jenny Voutov and Sierra Atkin who were less than half a second from a top 10.
