Mike Wyreman

Alpine U10 Head Coach and Teacher

Mike is an Alpine U10 head coach and a teacher at SBA. As a child, Mike lived in the Bay Area and spent time skiing Northstar and Alpine Meadows. He earned a BS in Design and Visual Communications at UC Davis and was a USCSA alpine ski racer. After graduation, Mike moved to Truckee and obtained his K-8 multi-subject teaching credential at Sierra Nevada College. He began coaching with the Sugar Bowl Academy teams during the 2001-2002 season and has coached every season since. He is a Level 100 USSA coach and holds an alpine referee license. Mike also serves as the director of the winter-term middle school program and is a teacher.  In his free time, Mike enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and sketching.
