Because you're reading this, you're likely contemplating whether a college preparatory ski academy — and Sugar Bowl Academy in particular — is right for you. Know that our admission team understands the challenges that come with navigating secondary education choices, and we take great pride in doing everything we can to help you through the process in an honest, straightforward and thoughtful manner.
Certainly, we love talented students and athletes, but what we look for most is that you're a gracious and highly motivated individual — even if your accomplishments to date are relatively modest.
So much of what we do transcends the ostensibly narrow context of a ski academy. Slopes, trails and classrooms are undoubtedly means by which we seek and celebrate themes of education and life, but at any given moment, Sugar Bowl Academy student-athletes are also immersed in activities such as marine biology SCUBA dives off the Monterrey peninsula, contemplating the history of religion around the Great Salt Lake, studying Shakespearean productions at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival...and much, much more.
Have a look around our website for a glimpse of life at Sugar Bowl Academy, and remember that it's only a glimpse — visiting us in person is by far the best way to learn about all that our motivated student-athletes do.
