Norden, CA(February 3, 2017) – Sugar Bowl Ski Team & Academy (SBSTA Freeride athletes continued their podium streak with two girls dominating their fields at the second stop on the TJFS tour at Alpine Meadows. Blessed with amazing snow, Tallulah De Saint Phalle and Hallie Conyers-Tucker skied their way into the top three finishes. Tallulah De Saint Phalle was on the podium in third place for the 11 – 14 girls, and Hallie Conyers-Tucker was second for the 15 – 18 girls. Competition was strong with record numbers of athletes competing.
Trevor Tanhoff, Director of Freeride Programs said, "The Freeride team coaches are excited by the consistent and aggressive skiing by Tallulah De Saint Phalle and Hallie Conyers-Tucker thus far into the TJFS season! Other highlights are Drake Riina and Aaron Shray climbing the ranks and continue to be athletes to watch out for! The concentration of talent in the Tahoe region is intense, especially amongst the 15-18 year old boys category. Cooper Davis, Louis Norris and Cooper Patterson continue to flirt with podium finishes during these events and promise to finish strong in the remainder of the series.
