Ski Programs at Sugar Bowl Academy

The Sugar Bowl Ski Team is built on a long tradition of excellence and has claimed its place as one of the foremost programs for athletic development in the Far West. Under the guidance of a phenomenal domestic and international coaching staff, members of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team excel in all levels of USSA and FIS competition. In addition to Alpine Racing, the Sugar Bowl Ski Team offers a Freeride Program which includes instruction in big mountain, slopestyle, half-pipe, and backcountry skiing. Nordic athletes at Sugar Bowl Academy train in partnership with Auburn Ski Club which was voted "Best Cross-Country Ski Club" by the U.S. Ski Association in 2000. With over 300 days of sunshine and 500 inches of snow annually, Sugar Bowl Academy is the ideal school for competitive wintersport student-athletes.
