Daron Rahlves and SBA
Daron Rahlves is the most decorated U.S. speed skier in World Cup history as well as 2008 X-Games Skier Cross Champion. Daron helps SBA develop the very best training facilities and programs. Most of all, Daron loves to ski and compete, so you can usually find him showing the SBA students how it is done on the Super G training hill, in the race arena, on the skier cross track, or skiing powder off Lincoln with the freeride team. Daron's love of skiing is contagious, but his passion for the whole Academy experience is what truly makes him an asset to our community.

As for the Ski Team, I don't know of another team who has put this much effort into creating optimal training. They have snowmaking, a full watering system, and great terrain for every event. It's cool to pass on my race approach, tactics and technique tips, but what I like best is to throw down a sweet run and just show them how it's done! I want to see the next generation love the sport of skiing and if that's being successful in competition then I'm here to help."
