Applying to SBA

Students or parents interested in learning more about Sugar Bowl Academy should contact the Admissions Office to request a viewbook and admissions packet. All prospective students and their families are strongly encouraged to visit the school for a tour and interview. Weekday visits in the winter are often the best time to see SBA "in action" and give you an opportunity to train with the ski team and sit in on a class or two. Weekend visits and overnight stays can be arranged as well.

Sugar Bowl Academy encourages students to complete and submit applications between January and April. Once all application materials have been submitted (essays, transcripts, recommendations) the admissions department will mail back a decision within two weeks. Sugar Bowl Academy is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 school year.

Financial Aid

Families who wish to apply for financial aid should complete and submit a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) to the School and Student Services (SSS) branch of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Parent Financial Statement can be completed online at sss.nais.org/parents/. The Sugar Bowl Academy Financial Aid Committee uses the information from the PFS report to make need based awards. All financial information is kept confidential.
